  1. Hello.
    I haven’t seen the film.
    I’ve just read the story.
I find it funny, especially the clause: “…they were years of normal ungrowth”, and the non-dialogue on wholesale hardware.
    Ha, ha, ha, ha.
This man’s story reminds me of a blog, I mean what we see in a blog is the latest post -less you change the normal order- so we would see it backwards if we decided to see it all, don’t you think?

  2. Maybe, someone who goes to the cinema for seeing The Curious Case of Benjamin Button should think it will be the kind of film to remember forever, and in fact it’s true. Some day, I heard that a good movie is that one in which you don’t know whether cry or laugh. And THIS is THAT ONE.
Although some part in the middle of the story could seem to be tedious, cause it lasted too much time, the whole plot grips you.
The director wanted to show a great story but with a comercial esence to be successful at cinemas or blockbuster.
About the plot, it’s more than a different way of showing the pass of time and the fleeting human life. It’s also a story of a man, in all his vital steps, from learning to walk to meet a first romance.
Finally, I would stand out the performance of Tilda Swinton and, obviously of Brad Pitt, who deserved to win the Oscar. He had to play his role the opposite way, not doing the normal things of a particular age, and he managed doing it very well!

  3. I was really excited about watching this movie. I couldn’t stop thinking about going to watch it. Not only because it had been nominated to a lot of Oscars and the main actor was Brad Pitt, but because I thought the story was deep and special. It is about a man who ages backwards and everything he has to face along the way.

I have to admit I was a little disapointed about it. I expected the best film ever and I end up watching I really moving film where Brad Pitt was an old man a big part of it. I have to say, though, that it is extremely well made and Brad Pitt deserved the Oscar though he didn’t win it.

I didn’t know it was based on a book. I would like to read it if I have the opportunity, to be able to compare it with the movie.
