Practise writing with the Web 2.0

Posted by Maria Valdés

In this very useful blog about languages and technologies, Babel 2.0, I learned about a tool that you might find interesting. It is called Lang-8, and the concept is to write entries in the website and native speakers of the language will correct your texts and you can also help correcting other people’s texts in your own language.

It works the same way as other Web 2.0 platforms: you have to sign up, providing a name and an e-mail address and in order to use it to have to log in, using the user name and the password you have chosen. You can see how it works in this video, created by a Japanese teacher for his blog tofugu.com.

If you try it, let us know about the experience.
